Head of the Transversal Urology Service at Hospital Universitari General de Catalunya, Hospital Universitari Sagrat Cor, and Hospital Quirónsalud del Vallès.

With extensive experience in urological oncology surgery and in the comprehensive treatment of prostate diseases, he is part of the 3D-4k Laparoscopic Surgery Unit of the Sagrat Cor University Hospital, a pioneer in Spain.

Specialist in robotic surgery with the Da Vinci system, in diagnosis by fusion biopsy and in the minimally invasive treatment of prostate cancer using focal therapy.

Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona and specialist in Urology trained at the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital. He has been an assistant physician in the Uro-Oncology Unit and the Renal Transplant Unit of the Puigvert Foundation for fourteen years, focusing his activity on uro-oncology surgery and the advanced approach to prostate cancer. Previously, he was also a member of the Lithiasi Unit.

He has worked as a teacher in the Degree of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​in the area of ​​Urology and on prostate cancer. Member of the European Association of Urology, the Spanish Association of Urology, and the Catalan Society of Urology.

Author of multiple scientific publications, clinical guides and book chapters. He has presented numerous communications at national and international congresses and has been recognized with several awards granted by medical journals and scientific societies. He is also the author of the book “In the patient’s skin. A self-criticism about the profession”, with three published editions.
