Rezum
Rezum is a minimally invasive treatment that uses water vapor to reduce the size of an enlarged prostate in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
This procedure is based on the controlled injection of steam directly into the hyperplastic prostate tissue, causing cell denaturation and subsequent absorption by the body. This allows the urethra to be unblocked and urinary flow to be restored without the need for surgery.
